What Is Astrocatography & How Does It Work?
If you’ve ever traveled somewhere and felt like everything just clicked, or visited a place where nothing seemed to go right, that experience may be connected to your astrological birth chart.
Astrocartography is an astrology technique that shows which locations around the world are most supportive for you personally, based on your exact birth date, birth time, and place of birth. It helps explain why certain cities feel energizing, lucky, and expansive, while others may feel heavy, isolating, or misaligned.
Rather than asking “What’s the best country for a first-time female solo traveler?”, a question I’m asked often as someone who has
lived in hotels full-time for over five years, aastrocartography looks at you.
There is no single best destination for everyone. The right place depends on your travel goals, personal energy, and your birth chart. That’s where astrocartography becomes an incredibly useful decision making tool for travel, long stays, relocation decisions, and sometimes even a tie breaker for choosing between destinations when everything looks equal pricewise on paper. Your astrocartography map helps you identify places where your career may thrive, where relationships feel easier, or where emotional healing and rest are naturally supported.
Is Using Astrocatography Anti-Christian?
If you’re Christian like me (I’m a confirmed Catholic) and curious, or cautious, about astrocartography, you’re not alone. A common concern is whether astrology, including astrocartography, contradicts biblical teaching.
When scripture is examined closely, it becomes clear to me that the Bible does not condemn astrology itself, but rather the misuse of it. The concern throughout scripture is not observing the heavens, but idol worship, placing faith in creation rather than the Creator.
What the Bible Says About Astrology and the Stars
Genesis 1:14 tells us that God placed the sun, moon, and stars in the heavens “for signs and for seasons.” This makes it clear that God created the heavens with divine order and intention.
Astrocartography simply helps observe how that order interacts with time and location. It is not about worshiping the stars; it is about understanding God’s design.
Many people assume astrology conflicts with Christian faith, but scripture consistently shows that the stars were created with purpose and meaning, not as objects of worship, but as tools for discernment. From the very beginning, the sun, moon, and stars were meant to be more than light sources, they were part of God’s communication system with humanity.
The Wise Men Used Astrology to Find Jesus
One of the most iconic stories in the Bible, the visit of the Magi, is built entirely on celestial observation. “We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” (Matthew 2:2)
The Magi were astrologers from the East who interpreted celestial alignments as a sign of the Messiah’s birth. The Bible does not condemn them. Instead, they are honored participants in Christ’s arrival, affirming that astrology was used as guidance, not worship.
Astrology Is Discernment, Not Idolatry
Critics often reference Isaiah 47:13–14 to argue that astrology is forbidden. However, these verses address idol worship and false gods, not the legitimate study of planetary patterns created by the one true God.
What scripture warns against is placing faith in astrology above God. Using astrology as a tool for discernment, much like prophetic dreams, parables, or casting lots, is entirely consistent with biblical history.
Faith and the Stars Can Coexist
Many modern Christians use astrology like a compass, not a religion. It can point toward personal growth, healing, and deeper understanding of how God designed you uniquely. A birth chart functions like a spiritual fingerprint, and astrocartography shows how that fingerprint interacts with different locations around the world.
In my opinion, you’re not “sinning” by learning how to travel, relocate, or grow using astrology. You’re simply paying attention to the divine design written in the sky, just like the Wise Men did.
And if you still disagree, there will be opportunities later this year for scheduled debates on this exact topic within House Of God on the Clubhouse app, so stay tuned.

How to Read Astrocartography Lines (With Real-Life Examples)
Once you generate your astrocartography map, you’ll see planetary lines running across different parts of the world. Each line represents how a specific planet from your birth chart is emphasized in that location. There isn’t a “good” or “bad” line, each one highlights a different life theme. I've included a simple breakdown below of what the most common astrocartography lines represent, along with real example of cities where these lines show up in my own chart, so you can see how this can look in real life.
Peace, Healing & Inner Growth Lines (Moon, Neptune & Jupiter IC)
IC lines in astrocartography relate to the inner world, emotional grounding, and the places where you feel most “at home.” Moon IC lines support nurturing and emotional healing, Neptune IC lines are associated with spiritual retreat and reflection, and Jupiter IC lines relate to inner abundance, faith, and emotional expansion. These locations often align with rest, introspection, and emotional recalibration.

Amritsar, India is one place in my chart that strongly reflects this energy. In May 2025, I unexpectedly found myself stranded there after booking a $200 business class flight deal from Kuala Lumpur. I was only supposed to stay one night before continuing on to my next destination, but due to conflict between Pakistan and India, the airport was shut down and I ended up stuck in the city for almost three weeks.
At first, my life felt completely frozen in time. I was frustrated about being forced to slow down and was honestly pretty bummed out that most days there wasn't much to do, especially since it felt like I was the only American tourist in the area. But I eventually decided there had to be a reason I was stuck in this random city. After doing some research, I realized that the Golden Temple, the largest Sikh temple in India, was located in Amritsar. Visiting it ended up being one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I always say that everything happens for a reason, and this experience is a perfect example of that.
Success & Career Lines (Sun, Jupiter & Saturn Midheaven)
In astrocartography, Midheaven (MC) lines relate to career, public life, visibility, and long-term success. Sun Midheaven lines are associated with leadership, recognition, and being seen. Jupiter Midheaven lines relate to growth, opportunity, and expansion in career matters. Saturn Midheaven lines are tied to discipline, responsibility, and building something lasting over time.
For me, Dubai, United Arab Emirates is where my success and career line sits in my chart. I originally flew to Dubai back in July (on a really epic flight in Etihad's new business class for only about $400) and I was only supposed to be in Dubai for just a few weeks. I came mainly because hotels are more affordable in Dubai during the extremly hot summer months but I stayed longer than expected because after I arrived in Dubai, my business started to take off in a way I haven’t ever experienced before.
I feel highly energized in Dubai and am able to work long hours without burnout. Over the past six months, I’ve gained more clients than I ever have in the past, to the point where I’ve been hesitant to leave because everything in Dubai just feels so aligned. As a result, I’m now in the process of securing residency in the United Arab Emirates and making Dubai my new home base, which is a really big deal for me after being nomadic for five years.
After so many years of traveling full-time without an apartment or permanent base, it feels exciting to finally put down roots in a place that so clearly supports my career growth. I plan to share more about this new chapter of my life soon, in a future blog post.
Transformation & Rebirth Lines (Pluto & Saturn)
Pluto lines in astrocartography are associated with deep transformation, personal evolution, and major power shifts that permanently change the direction of your life. Saturn lines relate to karmic lessons, structure, discipline, and long-term growth through responsibility and resilience. These planetary lines are often activated during periods of significant life change, career rebuilding, or personal reinvention.

For me, this line runs directly through Mumbai, India, a city where I have spent extended periods of time throughout my travels. When I look back on my last stay in Mumbai, I realize it marked a turning point in my business and personal growth. At the time, I was managing constant challenges and unexpected obstacles, but in hindsight, that period became the foundation for a new season of abundance that followed shortly after.
Despite higher hotel costs compared to other destinations in India, Mumbai offers exceptional value for luxury experiences, fine dining, and elevated lifestyle opportunities, especially for travelers earning in U.S. dollars. For creators and entrepreneurs navigating a Pluto or Saturn line, locations like Mumbai can act as powerful catalysts for reinvention, helping transform pressure into long-term success and expansion.
Love & Romance Lines (Venus & Moon)
Venus lines in astrocartography are associated with love, attraction, beauty, and social ease, while Moon lines relate to emotional connection, nurturing energy, and feeling supported or at home. These planetary lines are often linked to romance, meaningful relationships, and locations that provide emotional renewal or deep personal peace.

In my chart, this line runs through Malé, Maldives. I don’t have a dramatic story tied to this destination, but sometimes that’s exactly the point. The Maldives became a place of pure reset for me, quiet, beautiful, and emotionally grounding in a way few destinations are.
What made the experience even more surprising was realizing the Maldives doesn’t have to be reserved only for luxury honeymoon budgets. Instead of staying at an expensive private island resort, I based myself on a local island hotel for around $100 per night and purchased day passes to nearby luxury resorts, including Club Med Kani. For roughly another $100 per day, I had access to all-inclusive dining, drinks, beaches, pools, and water sports, experiencing five-star resort life at a fraction of the typical cost.
For travelers with Venus or Moon lines running through the Maldives, this destination can feel like an energetic reset, a place to reconnect with yourself, slow down, and experience beauty without pressure or urgency.
Final Thoughts: How Astrocartography Can Guide Where You Travel, Live, & Thrive
Astrocartography helps explain why certain places in the world feel aligned, energizing, or transformative, even when nothing obvious has changed externally. By understanding how planetary lines from your birth chart interact with different geographic locations, you can begin to see why specific destinations support career growth, relationships, creativity, or personal healing.
Over the past five years of traveling full-time, I’ve experienced firsthand how different locations activate different parts of my chart. Some places accelerated my business growth, while others provided emotional reset, inspiration, or clarity about my next chapter. Learning how to interpret astrocartography lines allows you to travel more intentionally and choose destinations that align with your goals instead of traveling randomly.
