9 AM - Excursion: Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and Lunch at a Winery: Art, history, countryside, food. Tuscany has it all. Explore the medieval city of Siena and its cathedral before heading to the hills of Chianti for a 3-course Tuscan lunch and wine tasting. Roam the streets of San Gimignano, and travel to Pisa to admire the architectural drama of Cathedral Square—home to the UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower of Pisa.

9 AM - Excursion: Cooking Class in A Tuscan Farmhouse: Your tour begins in central Florence, where you join up with your guide. Walk to a Florentine food market and peruse the stalls, each teeming with the region’s freshest ingredients, including cured meats, olives, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, sun-dried tomatoes, and other Tuscan delicacies. Select some of these high-quality ingredients for your cooking class later in the afternoon and enjoy tastings of the food and wine. Climb aboard a minibus and journey into the Tuscan hills and drive to a rustic farmhouse. Under the guidance of an expert chef, prepare a full Tuscan meal. Discover the culinary secrets behind Tuscan cuisine, from slow-cooked meat sauces to whipping up Italian pasta from scratch. Everything you make is seasonal but the menu may include roast pork, bruschetta, and tiramisu. Finally, reward yourself with your 4-course meal. Complement your delicious food with Tuscan wine and good conversation. Return to central Florence and receive all the recipes by email so you can impress family and friends back at home with your Italian dishes.

9 AM - Excursion: Cinque Terre Day Trip: Experience one of Italy’s most photogenic UNESCO World Heritage Sites the easy way on an all-inclusive Cinque Terre day trip from Florence. Relax and enjoy the views as a driver takes you to the Ligurian Coast, where you'll get assistance visiting for the five colorful seaside villages by train and by boat, traveling just like the locals do. Indulge in the flavors of Liguria, too, with included lunch and a wine tasting in Monterosso.

DAY 6 - Friday, November 29

9 AM - Excursion: Wine tasting In Tuscany: Get a true taste of Italy's famous Chianti region on this full-day wine and food tour departing from Florence. Led by a guide, travel through the Tuscan hills by a 4x4 off-road vehicle, stopping to visit a wine estate and historic villa, and a cellar specializing in bottles of Chianti Classico. Sample the finest specialties at each stop, and save room for a 3-course meal in the Chianti countryside before making the return trip to Florence.
